Paul Grothier (OPERATIONS Director)

Paul has been fishing since the age of five and has spent the last 20 years fishing and exploring various lakes in France and Spain. He has been escorting people on angling adventures to France and Spain for the last 15 years, and built a client base around the country from word of mouth. He is also the founder of Lake Escapes Ltd the company which helped in filming the Lake Escapes TV series with Matt Hayes, and has recently joined forces with Uncover The World to form Adventure Fishing Holidays, a tour company specialising in high quality fully guided fishing tours around the world. Kevin Midmore (SALES Director)

Kevin (Catmankev) has joined the team with over 30 years fishing experience. He joins us with a proven track record of catching big fish. Kevin has traveled the world insearch of large catfish, and with a current PB of 189lb puts him well on the way to that elusive 200lb goal, with a passion for adventure and a military back ground, it makes him the perfect choice to help Paul head up the company. Pete Mihalop (Head Guide / France)

Pete joins us with a proven track record as a good all round angler, with over 15 years experience of fishing in general. He has been working along side the team for the past 5 years in France and Spain, helping develop those destinations, and with his passion for catching and helping people catch big carp, it makes him the perfect choice to head up all French guiding. Pete will also work closely with Paul and the recce team on the research and development side of the business.

Paul Mihalop (Guide / France & Spain)

Paul started fishing at the age of 6. Spending 6 years on the match fishing scene between the ages of 13-17 at various venues around Norfolk. He moved away from match fishing in search of specimen carp with good success from a few different Norfolk lakes. Paul started travelling on fishing holidays around the UK, gaining knowledge of all aspects of fishing which has helped prove himself as a good all round angler. He has been travelling to France and Spain with the lake escapes team now for over 5 years , gaining information and knowledge of the current destinations. With good enthusiasm and an ability to learn Paul will be an asset to the team.

Peter Grothier (Head OF COrPoRATE Guiding)

Pete has spent the last 10 years helping Paul with the day to day running of the company, and has been a big part behind the scenes, (is there an Airport in England he doesn't know) he is a very good all round angler and has recently started to be more involved in the guiding. With a catering back ground and good organisation skill Peter will be an asset when it comes to hosting big parties and corporate team building events, at our destinations.

Stewart Millar (Tackle Consultant / Recce Team)

Stewart has been fishing since the age of 7, and has a proven track record as a great all round fisherman, his passion for travel make him a great choice to join the recce team. He has also worked in the fishing industry for 12 years and the last 2 of those has been as the joint owner of Harrison's Tackle. Stewart will also join us as a tackle consultant, and is on hand to help with all our clients tackle needs to all our destination he can be contacted at:

Anthony Horrobin (Bookings)

Anthony has worked within the travel industry for over 6 years now and has a gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. He is well travelled having visited Thailand, Israel, the Caribbean, and much of Egypt. His most memorable travel experiences are climbing Mount Sinai in Egypt and walking the Via DeLarosa in Old Jerusalem. In the future he would like to visit more of the Far East and the Indian Sub-continent. Anthony currently runs our bookings department dealing with all our tours and tailor-made requests.
