The Gulf Stream influence on the West Wales coast has produced large sharks with many blues over 170lbs and porgies over 165lbs. The last five biggest Blue Sharks caught from Welsh waters were caught by our charter boat, and it is the only boat in the UK to boat two blues over the 200lbs mark. Not since 1959 has a Blue Shark of 214lb been caught.
