The Florida Keys boasts some of the most diverse fishing to be found anywhere in the world. Surrounding the Keys are miles of shallow flats that lie in the estuarial waters of the backcountry. These flats are shallow areas with grass covered sandbars and coral outcroppings, and make ideal feeding grounds for a large variety of fish in search of crustaceans and small fish. These include Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Redfish, and Snook.

Through the years Florida flats fishing has gained in popularity and challenges the anglers’ talent against some of the wariest and hardest fighting fish to swim in the ocean. Using spin or fly fishing tackle, your guide will carefully pole your boat to try and get you the best shot possible at passing fish in less than 2 feet of water. This method of sight casting is both immensely challenging and adrenaline filled and will test the skills of even the best fisherman.
