Our Legal Responsibilities

We take the legal responsibilities we have to our clients very seriously and have in place all the necessary financial and legal safeguards as outlined in the 1992 EU Package Travel Regulations.

These regulations were put in place to provide financial and legal safeguards to the travel industry and are a legal requirement for all tour operators and travel agents regardless of their size.

We offer full 100% financial protection on all monies paid to us with our membership of the TTA (Travel Trust Association). Our ATOL (Air Travel Organisers’ licence) allows us to legally package flights with our holidays and provides another level of financial security on the monies paid to us. We have full liability insurance to cover our guides and suppliers and we carry out regular risk assessments on all the accommodation, boats and equipments we use.

Please be aware that there are many small and not so small fishing holiday companies out there that make no effort to comply with these regulations, either through ignorance or because of the added financial cost and paperwork required. These operators are breaking the law and putting you and your money at risk. Whoever you end up choosing to travel with, please check carefully that they have the necessary financial and legal safeguards in place, and rest assured that when you book with Adventure Fishing Holidays, you can do so with complete peace of mind.
